Today’s Moron – Jeff Zucker

Jeff Zucker is top man, the head of NBC Universal, a failing entertainment corporation.  As most people know, recently Jeff Zucker decided to screw Conan O’Brien who is the host of The Tonight Show, and move his show later, so that Jay Leno, who left The Tonight Show, could move his horrible 10 at 10 show to the 11:30 prime time slot. 

In an act of courage Conan O’Brien decided to come out on top and leave NBC because of the cheap shot by Jeff Zucker, the worm.  So, the response from Jeff Zucker was a threat to Conan that he would keep Conan off the air completely for three and a half years.  This, apparently, must be somewhere in Conan’s contract. 

But seriously, what kind of a jerk is he.  You screw him over, then when he decides to take the high road and get out of the way, you threaten to ruin his career completely.  What an asshole!  Come on, Jeff Zucker, why don’t you try to be a man who is respectable and decent, instead of the prick you are looking like now? 

Anyway, instead of worrying what Conan O’Brien will be doing after he leaves NBC Universal, maybe you should worry about your crappy television network that I don’t think anybody really watches anymore.  NBC is on the way down, and will definitely be the first of the major networks to bite the dust in this new era of television.  And, it will be Jeff Zucker, the head of the failure NBC, that will be fully responsible.  Not Conan.  Not Jay Leno.  Not Jimmy Kimmel.  Not any other network.  Just because of bad management from a horrible company leader – Jeff Zucker!

James Murdoch is a hypocrite thinking the BBC is more biases than FOX.

Today’s Moron – James Murdoch

James Murdoch, the 36-year old son on media mogul Rupert Murdoch is the head of the Europe and Asia interests for News Corp, his dad’s company.  He was attending the Edinburgh International Television Company convention over the weekend and was a keynote speaker.  During this speach he made claim that the BBC or British Broadcasting Corporation was a threat to independent journalism.  This, he feels, is because of some level of funding for the BBC by the British Government, thereby preventing the BBC from reporting unbiased truths. 

This is actually quite funny in that the News Corp company of FOX News in the US is one of the most biased news networks around and I am sure has some level of ‘backing’ by the far-right conservative lobbyists that continue to want their views spread.  So, for James Murdoch to compain of possible ‘bias’ in the BBC news network is laughable and completely moronic.  Bias exists in pretty much any news source.  It is difficult these days to find a truly unbiased reporting of the news.  However, I am a regular watcher and reader of all US news networks and FOX rings in as tied for the most biased – right up there with MSNBC. 

Come on, James Murdoch, remember what Jesus said ‘Let the man with no sin, cast the first stone’.  Believe me, your company trumps BBC on media bias so you have no right to call them out because they are partially state-sponsored.

Arthur Frommer needs to think before he speaks.

He reacted to reports that protesters were seen openly carrying guns outside a building where President Obama was visiting in Phoenix on Monday.

Now, I can understand how strange it was for all of us to see this on the news. A man walking around a group of people carrying a rifle. But if Arthur Frommer took a few minutes to remove himself from his political viewpoint, and rationally looked at all the states gun laws, he would find that Arizona is not the only state he needs to avoid. All of these states have similar open-carry gun laws.

Colorado, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming

So, Arthur Frommer needs to seriously rethink his stance of not traveling to a state that permits open carry of long guns in public, or he will be greatly restricted throughout the US and probably should move to Europe. Don’t be a moron, Frommer, stick with travel; keep out of politics.

Jeffrey Lurie has a fetish for dog abusers!

Today’s Moron – Eagle’s Owner Jeffrey Lurie

I am not sure what the Philadelphia Eagle’s owner Jeffrey Lurie was thinking when he made the decision to hire the ex-con and animal abuser Michael Vick to play for his team.  Other than the fact that Vick is a disgusting human being that has no regard for defenseless animals, it seems a stupid and moronic decision to bring what seems to be negative attention and press to his teams efforts.

There are sure to be a large number of people upset, but I am sure it won’t have too much of an effect.  As it usually goes, the guy with all the money has the power to do what he wants to do.  So, I am fairly sure Jeffrey Lurie will come out okay, but I wonder what he will say to curious little kids that love their dogs and would be devastated to know what Michael Vick likes to do to them?  I imagine Lurie will just say that it doesn’t matter – as long as he makes more money.  Jeffrey Lurie, you are a moron!
