Glenn Beck is worth watching for pure amusement!

Today’s Moron – Glenn Beck

I actually decided to watch Glenn Beck yesterday on FOX News to see what all the fuss was about.  He can’t be that bad, I thought.  I am sure he is a good speaker and commentator, I thought.  But oh my, was I wrong!  This guy rambled on about stuff using lines of his own logic that even I couldn’t follow.  Being a middle-of-the-road guy, I am open to left and right opinions, as long as they are intelligent and based in fact.  But the crap that spewed out of Glenn Beck’s mouth was not fact or even opinion, it was a trail of pointless, ignorant and baseless ideas all thrown together to form an hour of pure nonsense. 

I had no idea this guy was so funny, actually.  I just sat there laughing out loud at his antics, his raging against ideas that only he can interpret.  I was so amused, I thought ‘wow, this guy is truly a moron – why do people get so upset – nobody would listen to this crap’.  But that is the problem – on that point I am very mistaken.  Although many of Beck’s sponsors have dumped him, his viewership continues to be high.  There are apparently millions of Americans that watch this crap – and most are not watching for pure amusement, like myself, they are watching because they will end up believing this nonsense that comes out of his mouth. 

I have a category for extreme political commentator views, O’Reilly, Maddow, Olbermann to name a few.  These are intelligent commentators that put forth their far-right or far-left views on TV.  I can actually listen to them and not laugh.  They many times have points and use logic in their opinion making.  But Beck no longer fits that category, he is in the category of delusional and pathetic.  The category of moron.
