Today’s Moron – Keith Bardwell
Keith Bardwell, a Justice of the Peace in Tangipahoa, Louisiana, near New Orleans 8th Ward, refused to issue a couple a marriage license because they were an inter-racial couple – Beth Humphrey is white and Terence McKay is black.
He continues to maintain that he is not sorry and that he has done nothing wrong. Which just goes to show how completely delusional some people are. How does he feel he has the right to dictate who gets married? It is amazing to me that in this country, the land of the supposed free, that so many people get so uptight about other people that marry. What kind of ignorant, bigoted and uneducated people are we raising in this country?
Governor Jindal has called for this guy to resign or be terminated and there is growing sentiment that he should be punished for his actions if only to send a message that this type of racist ignorance is not acceptable.

Good call. I think it’s time for him to “retire to spend more time with his family”.. or whatever it is fat good ol’boys do when they get caught with their pants down.

It’s amazing to me that this guy still hasn’t been forced out of office. But he does have some support from LA’s other senator – David Vitter – has refused comment on this. That’s probably because he is an ignorant GOP bigot himself. Not to mention he is completely an asshole pig who cheats on his wife with skanky hookers. What a fucking jerk!
