What skeleton is Rep Louis Gohmert hiding in his closet? Kids, dogs, dead people?

Today’s Moron – Representative Louis Gohmert (R-TX)

Wow!  Did any of you see the video of this loser jackass on the floor of the house giving a speech against the repeal of the ignorant ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ law prohibiting lesbian or gay soldiers from serving their country and being open about their sexual orientation?  If you get a chance – it is quite amusing (or disgusting). 

This Texas ignoramus decided to use his time to talk about ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ to discuss another controversial issue – the proposed Hate Crimes Bill that moves sexual orientation into the list of hate crimes categories.  On this subject, this ignorant and hate-filled government official said…

“If you’re oriented toward animals, bestiality, then, you know, that’s not something that can be used, held against you or any bias be held against you for that. Which means you’d have to strike any laws against bestiality, if you’re oriented toward corpses, toward children, you know, there are all kinds of perversions, [...] pedophiles or necrophiliacs or what most would say is perverse sexual orientations but the trouble is, we made amendments to eliminate pedophiles from being included in the definition.”

 When are these shallow-minded stupid people going to realize that this argument is completely pathetic and simply fear-mongering?  What does abusing children or animals or dead people - all disgusting crimes – have to do with someone who happens to be gay or lesbian?   There is a reason those are crimes – children, animals and dead people can not defend themselves and are unable to discern judgement as to their desire or lack of desire to join with someone in a relationship or sex.  What the hell does that have to do with two mature adults that fall in love and have a committed and loving relationship?   Or, beyond the sex part, the Hate Crimes Legislation would include beating or killing someone that is perceived to be gay.  A young man that is effeminate and beaten because they are perceived to be gay, regardless of whether or not they are, would be covered.  Why is this wrong to be included as a hate crime, you moron?

The sick people are the people like Louis Gohmert that use an opportunity like this to bring these sick and disgusting perversions up.  Maybe this is actually telling us something.  Maybe the authorities need to go do some investigating and check into Louis Gohmert’s kids or pet dog.  Maybe his harsh, irresponsible and incomprehensible rants are simply a hint into Mr. Louis Gohmert’s personal perversions.  I for one am willing to bet that Mr. Gohmert’s fears stem from his own thoughts and desires.  But of course, that is just my opinion.  But there has to be some reason that fools like this tend to always take things back to disgusting perversions when that is not nearly the issue at hand. 

Come on, Louis Gohmert, stop showing your own issues through your extreme positions like this.  Stop being a moron, and start being fair minded and compassionate.  Stop being an ass!
